To my childhood best friend. We had such wonderful fun as young girls. Nancy Drew books, playing house, Barbies, spud, kickball, skateboards, dolls, Creedence Clearwater albums, The Monkeys, The Beatles, selling girl scout cookies, delivering those cookies in the wagon, (remember Glenn Arvinitis flipping our red wagon and breaking all the cookies? His Dad made him pay you $80.00 to cover the loss from his allowance.) Navigating the route in the winter from my house to yours on Regina Road, dodging snowballs being pelted by the Cavanaugh boys. Tea and great home baked cookies at Aunt Connie's house with Joann, Little Connie and Laurie. Hanging out at your house, waffle breakfast with ice-cream after church on Sunday, going to Friendly's with your parents after school concerts. Junior High dances and Hight School Proms....
Our lives took different paths, but I have felt connected to you despite the separation since first grade. I am sorry we never reconnected, but you will always be in my heart, and God willing, if I am worthy, we will meet again. I love you Diane
