Frances Schifano passed away on January 4, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mother of Roseann Nakelski (Raymond) and Josephine Merrick-Vogel (Gerald Vogel, and the late Doree Merrick). Cherished grandmother of Alexandra, Christina, Diana and Cathleen. Predeceased by her three brothers. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 2 - 5 pm & 7 - 9pm at the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes, Inc., 603 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate her life will be held 10:00 am on Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Frances De Chantal Church, 1309 Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh, NY. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
