Dear Meg and family,
“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.” My dear friend Frances was one of those people....
I am still in disbelief that I will never hear the voice of my beloved friend Frances. Even though we met just once when I was a case manager of your Mom, Meg, we have developed a very special bond over a decade that has become stronger after I stopped the employment with that company. Frances and I benefited from each other's experiences. One lesson I learned from Frances was "take your time to write commendation letters to people doing a very good job instead of just saying thank you". I started doing it at every opportunity, whether it is to a polite and helpful bus driver, a waiter at a restaurant, or a sales associate.
Dear Meg, I cannot express the sorrow I felt today. May God carry you through this time of ordeal, and give your family strength and comfort of realizing what a precious gift you all had in your life. Your Mom has told me numerous times how great her children are, and what would she do without you, Meg. You are an outstanding daughter, Meg!. I will always miss my dear friend Frances!
