Can I tell you about the most problematic triaffc light? Every morning I exit the NSP eastbound at Lakeville Road, turn right onto Marcus Avenue and then proceed to make another right onto Lakeville Road, northbound, where there is a triaffc light and a red light camera. The two right most lanes are designated right turns only, as shown by the right turn arrows painted on the road in both lanes, yet the triaffc light there contains 5 circles, including a red light, a green light, a yellow light, a green arrow signal. Now, my understanding is that you can make a right turn at a red light after a full stop in Nassau County, which I did, but I received a ticket. Now, I don't turn at the red light anymore, even though all the cars behind me are honking, and I wait for either the green light or the green arrow light. So I turned right when the triaffc signal was simultaneously red and the green arrow light was on, and I think I got another ticket! What is going on??
