Today is September 11, 2018. I met Craig in the last months of his life when I was a volunteer at NY Presbyterian Hospital. I’ve never forgotten him, not his sacrifice, nor tthe courage that he showed in facing his illness, and especially not his love for his family. He showed everyone who visited a picture of his beautiful girls. He was very proud. The debt of gratitude we owe to our first responders can never really be repaid, but that shouldn’t keep us from trying. Thanks Craig. I enjoyed our time together.

I'm going to miss that smiling face and the pop up visits that use to be for Eddie but I would enjoy just as well. You would have the funniest stories.
