I served with Elinor many years in the Ministry of Consolation. She was also in the St. Raphael Book Club where I enjoyed listening to her great accent when she talked about a book. Elinor was always such a kind and compassionate person. I always loved talking to her and she always made you feel like a real friend.
I imagine her years as a nurse made her a great listener and so compassionate. I heard stories of the great pioneer Elinor was at the Meadowbrook Hospital and of course her many ministries at St. Rapahels.
May she rest in peace and know that she was a good and faithful servant.
